Mentor coaching for ACC credential and application of ICF core competencies

Mentor coaching is required for those who want to become a certified life coach. The process provides aspiring coaches with valuable feedback, guidance, and support to enhance their coaching skills, and meet the high standards set by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) for the coaching industry. ICF’s Associate Certified Coach (ACC) is able to demonstrate the knowledge and emerging proficiency in the application of ICF core competencies, code of ethics, and definition of coaching. ACC is the first level towards becoming a professional certified ICF coach.

To become an ICF coach, you need to achieve a minimum of 100 hours, out of which at least 75 hours should be paid, with at least 25 clients. Powerhouse Coaching has come up with a co-created process for those on the path to ACC credentialing through its highly experienced MCC coaches who provide constructive feedback on your coaching sessions, and build confidence in your coaching abilities. One of the requirements for an ACC mentor coach is 10-hour group mentor coaching, which is distributed over a minimum of three months. The aim of mentor coaching for ACC is to provide coaches with a comprehensive learning experience, and ample time for reflection and skill development.

Replacing bad habits with best practices

10-hour group mentor coaching is required by ICF to become an ACC mentor coach. For those on their path to becoming an ACC mentor coach, Powerhouse Coaching provides the mandatory 10-hour group mentor coaching wherein you will be exposed to different perspectives and coaching styles, enriching your coaching toolkit. This cost-effective 10-hour group mentor coaching for ACC is more budget-friendly than one-on-one sessions, making the program accessible to a broader range of ACC mentor coach applicants. The program for ACC mentor coaches is designed to replace your bad habits with best practices, boost your confidence as an ACC mentor coach, and help you navigate the credentialing process with confidence.

Giving an unparallel mentoring experience

The group mentor coaching program cuts through the fluff, and gives you precisely what you need from mentor coaching for ACC. It consists of 7 hours of group mentor coaching in a small group of six to ten participants, and 3 hours of one-on-one coaching. The mentor coaching for the ACC program satisfies the 10-hour credentialing requirement for mentor coaching and gives you an unparalleled mentoring experience. You will be provided with the latest study materials and tools required to become an ACC mentor coach, with personalized mentoring tailored to your specific needs, skills, and weaknesses.

One-on-one coaching

The group coaching for ACC mentor coach program is completed in 7 sessions of 90 minutes each. You will be set up for success from the first session itself as your MCC coach will provide you with materials and tools you will be using in mentor coaching for ACC. Sessions 2 to 5 will combine live mentor coaching, round robins, facilitated discussions, and questions & answers. The last two 90-minute sessions will be one-on-one between the mentor coach and the mentee, that may be used to review a recorded coaching call, practice your coaching, or any other support you need for skill building. Powerhouse Coaching also provides mentor coaching to those looking to require or renew their Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and Master Certified Coach (MCC) certifications.
