Mentor coaching by an experienced MCC coach for ACC, PCC, and ICF Level 3

To be a successful coach, you need to practice your skills and also obtain the necessary credentials from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). The world’s apex coaching body provides three levels of credentials, including ACC (Associate Certified Coach), PCC (Professional Certified Coach), and MCC (Master Certified Coach). For all these coaching credentials, you need to get at least 10 hours of mentor coaching from an ICF accredited coach having the same or higher level of credentials for which you are applying. Mentor coaching helps in enhancing your coaching skills, broaden your knowledge, and gain new insights.

For those looking for their MCC credential, also known as ICF Level 3, Powerhouse Coaching provides a 75-hour Level 3 coaching program through its highly experienced MCC mentor coach, which is completed in 22 weeks in sessions of at least 90 minutes each. The program is designed to assist experienced coaches in understanding the nuances that distinguish MCC coaching from PCC. It develops the coaches' awareness of self and shifts required to coach at the Master level, and prepares coaches for a confident submission of their MCC application and recordings through massive practice, self-reflection, and feedback.

Synchronous and Asynchronous Hours

The ICF approved Level 3 program gives PCC coaches the required education and mentoring hours needed to apply for the MCC credential through ICF. Students will have to submit two sessions for mentor coaching recordings for assessment with their MCC application. The mentor coach training program is divided into:

The sessions also include four 2-hour Practice Clinics, and a combination of instructions, facilitated discussions, coaching practice, and feedback. The coach training program also includes 7 hours of group mentor coaching, and three hours of one-to-one mentor coaching.

36 Asynchronous Hours: These sessions for ICF Level 3 include a combination of coaching, being coached, journaling, independent reading, listening to, and reviewing a variety of MCC level coaching sessions.
