Reviewing ICF ethics and guidelines
During your ICF coach training, you will be provided with
tools, documents, knowledge and experience that you need to coach at the
highest level, along with coaching opportunities and feedback. Each session of
the ICF coach training would be of 90 minutes duration. In the first session,
your MCC coach and you will get to know each other a bit better, and your coach
will set you up for success with a review of ethics and ICF guidelines.
Sessions 2 to 5 will combine live mentor coaching, round robins, facilitated
discussions, and questions & answers.
The program’s focus will be on improving your coaching
presence, inviting the shift, and building coaching skills that reflect the ICF
core competencies. The last two sessions of ICF mentor coaching will be
one-on-one between you and your mentor coach wherein there will be review of
the recorded coaching call, practice coaching, and support will be provided to
you for skill building.
